There's an excellent book by Isabel Wilkerson called: "Caste -- The Origins of Our Discontents" about this white, northern European caucus, and in the irony of ironies, Wilkerson discusses how the Nazis came to America to figure out how to structurally institutionalize racism in Germany, and, what the Nazis found was that many of America's policies were too radical for them!
