This is because every politician or person with power/resources = money is majorly concerned about the stock market, and do not want to disrupt the mystical wealth creation that happens here.

Did you notice how Biden referenced how well the stock market is doing in his Covid response on Tuesday, December 21?

I am a public service worker, and my state-sponsored retirement is dependent upon a healthy stock market, so it matters to the little guys and gals as well, because this reflects my future security, which is, as far as I am concerned: very shaky-to-non-existent.

But that's not the point here: the point is money, and how money guides every single policy decision that is made, regardless of party; it works equally on both sides of the aisle, and we have let this happen, let our world become governed by an abstraction, by a worthless piece of paper, instead of principle and morals and virtues like kindness, compassion, equal opportunity -- progress and truth.

It's f-king disgusting. Truly abhorrent. Twisted and sick and it's destroying human cultures and progress.

It's the end of the world as we know it, and that's NOT hyperbole, some feckless finger-waving -- it's the g*ddamn unvarnished truth.

And, you're right about this virus, and how woefully unprepared we are for what's about to happen, the amount of death and misery and disruption that is about to occur, because humanity could not step beyond our short-sightedness, listen to wise and experienced and educated people about how to deal with a pandemic, because we had to have our stuff, we couldn't stop consuming not for one second because if we do the whole world's economic engine comes to a screeching halt.

Sick. Sick. Sick.

Happy holidays.
