This is what it is all about: money.

Too many people are getting stupid rich off the military-industrial complex, and in this gargantuan irony, to these politicians, this is seen as a good thing, bringing jobs and profit and economic growth and development to their constituents. War is good business.

America is nearing a trillion dollars a year of spending of defense. Imagine what this money could do if spent wisely, with the common good of the people in mind, the stellar healthcare and educations systems we might have, the research we might conduct, how we might begin a meaningful fight against climate change, a fight for the future of all humankind, all biological life on this planet, none of which is being spared by climate, but instead, our child-minded leaders keep acting like 8th graders on the playground during recess, running around bullying and punching anyone in the face who does not immediately submit.

What a f*cking crazy joke of a world we have created, but yeah, we have Musk and Besos, more billionaires than ever before, more greed and cruelty and suffering. This is what we have wrought.

And, folks, it's not just America -- it's the whole goddamned human culture that just can't seem to grow the f*ck up and act like responsible and mature adults.

If you want to talk about a "mind virus," Elon, this is it. It is not "wokeness," it's the apotheosis of ignorance and violence and hatred, the dehumanization of the human population, everyone just a cog, just an extra in some rich cabal's big one act play.

And, we all just keep doubling down.
