This is wisdom derived in a gym.

It comes from everywhere, wisdom, through all kinds of experiences, including weight lifting, and people think gym-goers are "meatheads," the epitome of stupid, but the gym teaches you real life lessons, the first of them being: nobody can do it for you, lift those weights, build those muscles, or strengthen that heart, you gotta do it on your own.

No pain, no gain, a tired old cliche turns out to hide an essential human truth -- good stuff comes from the struggle, whether it's in the gym or in your own head, no change comes without some difficulty, hardship, and struggle.

It's on you, folks, which is what the gym will readily teach anybody who goes, and which, it turns out, is an incredibly simple, yet empowering, mindset.

Let's give some props to powerful learning that happens in the most unexpected places and keep our minds open as a result of this knowledge.
